A History of Scottish Herbs

I don’t know why, but I am not one to utilize video as much as I could, so I am really happy when  friends  share ones that they have found. Stephany, of Naturally Simple Living blog, also has a webpage at face book and there she shared the following videos. Since I am studying Traditional Scottish Herbalism, I am pretty excited! Thanks Stephany “waves” xx There are several videos in this series.  By the way, Stephany has just a web shop also:)

OOoh I will have to take a look. Thanks for sharing. I recently purchased The Scots Herbal by Tess Darwin.

I have not really had time to read it properly yet though. I have a rather huge book pile going. I was drawn to it because of my Scottish Ancestory out of curiosity. I am thinking it will make a fantastic companion in winter curled up in front of the fire.

My adopted ancestors are from Scotland, Leslie! Oh, no, another book about herbs to purchase! It's all your fault!

Another book recommendation for you Lesley if you don't already have it... Napiers History Of Herbal Healing, Ancient & Modern by Tom Atkinson, it's a history of Scottish Herbal Medicine and very interesting.
